On June 21, 2024 our amazing team came together at BPES School in Bandra West for a truly unique team-building experience. 🎨✨
We combined creativity and social responsibility to transform classroom walls into vibrant works of art!From painting cheerful underwater scenes to seeing the joy in the students' eyes, it was a day filled with teamwork, laughter, and a shared purpose.
We strengthened our bonds and gave back to the community, making a lasting impact on these underprivileged students' learning environment. 💪❤️

College & Cash: GCD Empowers Akshara's Students to Forge a Healthy Relationship with Money
First-generation college students at Akshara Foundation are forging a strong bond with their finances, thanks to a powerful Financial Literacy Workshop by Global Community Development (GCD.ngo)!
Navigating money matters after high school can be a challenge. Recognizing this, GCD, a champion for women's empowerment, joined forces with Akshara Foundation to conduct the impactful "College & Cash: Take Charge of Your Money" workshop.
This 90-minute session, led by GCD's team – Glancy, Rajeev, and Dr. Derrick – equipped these young women with the knowledge and confidence to not just manage their finances, but also build a healthy and empowering relationship with money.
Building the Foundation: Practical Skills for Financial Fitness
The workshop wasn't about complex investment strategies; it focused on building a solid foundation. Glancy, with her financial expertise, delivered practical guidance on essential topics like:

GCD collaborates with Udisha Project for Personality Development workshops for Teens. April 2024.
In a serene and rustic outdoor setting, we at GCD, embarked on a three-day journey of empowerment with the teens of the Udisha Project. These young minds, eager to explore and grow, gathered together for a transformative experience.
Over the course of three days, Glancy led the teens through a series of engaging and insightful workshops focused on personality development. From mastering communication skills to crafting the perfect elevator pitch, each session was carefully curated to foster growth and self-discovery.
But it wasn't just about learning new skills; it was about tapping into the potential within. Through somatic exercises and power posing, the teens learned to embody confidence and presence, discovering the power they hold within themselves.
Vocabulary and storytelling sessions sparked creativity and imagination, allowing each teen to express themselves in unique and meaningful ways. They were encouraged to find their voices and gain courage to speak their truth.
Glancy delved into deeper aspects of personality development, addressing vital traits such as discipline and resilience. These invaluable lessons equipped the teens with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with strength and determination.
